About WH-347 β Certified Payroll Report (Davis-Bacon)
Form WH-347 (Certified Payroll) is required weekly from contractors and subcontractors performing work on federally funded or federally assisted construction contracts subject to the Davis-Bacon and Related Acts. These laws require that workers on covered federal contracts be paid the locally prevailing wage rates and fringe benefits for their job classification. The certified payroll must list each worker, their classification, hours worked, wage rate, deductions, and net pay. The contractor's principal officer must sign a Statement of Compliance on each payroll. Payrolls are submitted to the contracting agency. Violations can result in debarment from federal contracting.
