Trademark Infringement Cease and Desist Letter Template

A Trademark Cease and Desist Letter is a formal legal notice demanding that an individual or business immediately stop using your registered or common law trademark. Trademark infringement occurs when someone uses a mark that is confusingly similar to your trademark in a way that could cause consumer confusion about the source of goods or services.

This cease and desist template is the standard first step in enforcing trademark rights. It puts the infringer on notice that their use is unauthorized, demands they stop use immediately, and warns of legal action (including injunctions, damages, and attorney fees) if they continue.
